SPC is a rigid interior floor, interior WPC panels cover selected dry walls, and PE outdoor WPC is reviewed for exposed or semi-exposed areas. These products are not three styles of the same material. Start with what will be covered and the conditions around it before comparing colour, profile or price.

Share whether the base is tile, screed, old vinyl, paint, masonry, decking or another finish. Note uneven areas, hollow tiles, moisture history, drainage, door clearance, sockets, corners and fixed carpentry where relevant. Site condition can change preparation, fixing, finished height and the accessories needed around an edge.

Use the product code on the physical sample when requesting a product sheet, technical file, warranty or care terms. A catalogue image helps with initial direction, but it does not confirm the exact dimensions, construction, batch appearance or application limits of the product that will be supplied.

Ask the quotation to separate measured quantity, wastage, preparation, accessories, trims, skirting, transitions, fixing or installation, furniture movement, disposal and exclusions. State the intended timeline and whether you need supply only or supply with installation. The complete scope is more useful than a material-only headline price.
Record the property type, room use, approximate area and the surface already in place. Add wide and close-up photos of uneven areas, transitions, doorways, skirting, fixed carpentry, drainage or exposed edges that could affect preparation and finishing.
Keep the product family, SKU or labelled sample with the current product sheet and care terms. For SPC, also retain the thickness, wear layer, plank size and locking profile so a colour sample is not mistaken for the complete specification.
Confirm measured quantity, wastage, accessories, preparation, delivery, installation, trims, skirting, transitions, furniture movement, disposal, access, timeline and exclusions. The final record should show what is included and which site assumptions could change the price or schedule.
